The ThoraxSupport™ is a unique thorax positioning system designed to optimize radiotherapy treatment setup with a strong emphasis on homogeneity, efficiency, and patient comfort. This innovative system provides flexible solutions to easily position the patient’s arms outside the treatment area, ensuring clear access to the thorax region for precise radiation delivery.

Personalised setup and enhanced patient comfort
Alongside its stable and rigid design, the ThoraxSupport™ offers an easy adjustable head and arm supports for personalised patient setups. Its contoured lumbar area enhances patient comfort during treatment sessions. The system is fully compatible with our MacroCast® thorax thermoplastics for secure and accurate immobilisation of the patients’ torso.
Versatile configurations with MR compatibility
The ThoraxSupport™ is available in both standard and short versions, including MR-conditional options. Additionally, a 7.5° carbon fiber wedge can be attached to incline the base. Its various accessories such as the high bridge, 90-degree arm supports and hand grips further enhance the versatility of this system.
