Tilting Baseplate

Available for RealEase, S-Type and ExaFix mask systems

Overview

MacroMedics Tilting Baseplates are designed to offer flexible and precise angulation during radiotherapy treatments. These baseplates are available for RealEase, S-Type, and ExaFix mask systems and can be easily and quickly clicked onto standard head & neck baseplates. They provide adjustable angulation of up to 25° or 35°, with 5 or 7 step increments, allowing for customised positioning for each patient.

One of the key advantages of the tilting baseplates is that they help prevent mask overstretching, a common issue that occurs when using wedges or blocks during positioning. By minimising overstretch, the tilting baseplates create a more stable and comfortable mask fit, resulting in improved reproducibility and precision in patient repositioning throughout the treatment course.
