Oncology Systems Limited Partners with BolusCare UG to Bring Innovative Radiotherapy Bolus Solution to the UK and Ireland

Oncology Systems Limited (OSL) has announced a new distribution partnership with BolusCare UG, making OSL the official distributor of BolusCare UG’s mouldable radiotherapy bolus solution across the UK and Ireland.
The partnership will support radiotherapy departments seeking patient-specific, workflow-oriented bolus solutions designed to improve fit, reproducibility and ease of use in clinical practice. BolusCare® is a two-component bolus that can be moulded directly to a patient’s anatomy, helping reduce air gaps between the bolus and the skin and supporting more consistent positioning throughout a course of treatment.

In radiotherapy, bolus materials are commonly used when treating targets close to the skin surface. Achieving close contact between the bolus and the patient’s anatomy is important, particularly in complex treatment areas such as the chest wall, head and neck region, and extremities. By enabling direct moulding to the patient, BolusCare provides an alternative to conventional sheet bolus and more resource-intensive customised solutions.
